If you recall I wanted to try new travel friendly workouts. Well, this morning I woke up in Chicago and instead of visiting the gym I decided to give a new workout a try. I did Self Magazine’s Dance Your Way Slim.
I can’t really see myself doing this full routine again but I can see myself incorporating some of the moves into my Curves cardio pads or adding them to another lower body workout. I really liked the workout but some moves were not happening with a not so great right knee and I spent so much time trying not to fall over, I couldn’t work up a real sweat. It’s a great workout for toning and working on balance but not so great for a good sweat session.
Although, the workout was good enough to make it to My Workouts page.
But I think tomorrow I’m going to test out the hotel gym. I need a good sweat (and not one that’s caused from heat and humidity).
